The John Guest Company was established in the early 1960s, specialising in precision engineering and toolmaking. Since Mr John Guest developed the first Speedfit push in tube fitting in 1974, the company has grown to become the world’s largest manufacturer of push in pipe fittings and other fluid system products. 100’s of millions of fittings are now being used in a diverse range of industries including Automotive, Compressed Air, Drinks Dispense, Pneumatics, and Plumbing and Heating.

The company now employs some 1,100 people at its 326,000 sq ft purpose built manufacturing centres. Group Headquarters near Heathrow Airport and a smaller unit in Cornwall producing fittings; and Maidenhead, dedicated to the production of tube and pipe.

John Guest sales and distribution companies in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Australia, Korea and the USA support a network of distributors in over 50 countries. International Sales now account for over 60% of output recognised by the company receiving a Queen’s Award for International Sales on 3 occasions
