While training ground bust-ups are all part and parcel of rugby, the recent tiff between Danny Cipriani and Josh Lewsey was widely reported, Haskell was surprised how quickly it became such big news.
"These things do happen all the time, where ever you go," admitted the backrow forward.
"I always think it is a positive thing - especially if it is handled in the right way. As a rugby player a lot of our preparation is physical so if things boil over, you are going to get a physical response."
"The good thing is that because we are a team, we can move straight on from that. The disappointing thing was how quickly that came out and how Danny has this celebrity status and things like this become common knowledge."
"From a players point of view we are not too worried about it, it does not distract us. I must say I am a little disappointed that every stalwart of the game, every commentator has come out and warned Danny what he is going to do and what mistakes he is going to make and how he can slip up."
"The guy has been out of the game for five months and he has got back quicker than anyone else has with the same injury and has played very well."
"He has a celebrity girlfriend now, but I am a little surprised as to why everyone is coming out of the woodwork to say that he is about to fall off a cliff and disappear into a black hole -- judge him on his playing, that is all I say."
