A few months ago a number of boys from Teddingtons RFC under 13s Youth team were chosen to take part in a Disney Channel "Undercover Coach" production, which has just been nominated for a British Academy Children's Award in the "Animated programmes of more than three minutes’ duration, for children aged 5 and over" category!

The plot basically had Wasps and England star James Haskell turn-up unexpectedly at the boys house to provide some top coaching tips. James Frankenburger and little brother Luke were the stars of the show, but mum Val also showed off her many talents as a "rugby-mum".

Harry Lightfoot, Sam Lewis and Akira Takenaka also took part providing a hilarious finale to the show where the Teddington boys took on James Haskell head-to-head! The show has recently been screened on the Disney Channel. Undercover Coach is a five-part series following British sports stars mentoring young athletes.
